My Vacation Recap: An Eye-Opening Experience

I know it’s been a WHOLE WEEK  since I last blogged & I am ready to get back on track! As most of you know, I was on vacay in San Diego for the week and I am so excited to share my experiences with you through my posts and today’s blog!

We had planned this trip for months and both have been there once for a short amount of time a year or so ago but we wanted to finally enjoy it in all its glory. I am originally from NH but I have lived in the Mid-West as well as the South-East - let me tell you though, nothing beats the SoCal vibes! We stayed in this adorable AirBnb right outside of downtown and drove our tiny rental car all over the southern coast.  We enjoyed the plentiful beaches, the cool city feels & the BOMB food!  If you ever venture to Southern California, check these places out!

Places we saw // MUST SEES :

- Sunset Cliffs

- Venice Beach

- La Jolla Cove

- Shaw Cove, Laguna Beach

- Pacific Beach

- Gaslamp District, Downtown San Diego

- Del Mar Racetrack

So, after experiencing this beautiful city on the other side of the country, I really began to reevaluate my life. When you live in a positive environment and are able to do what you absolutely love, you will ultimately succeed! Sounds like a no-brainer right? Well, for most entrepreneurs who are just starting out - we have to work a job while we are working on our dreams in order to stay financially sound and make sure we have all our ducks in a row before we take the plunge.  But after this trip - I realized, I don’t want to be safe any more! I want to make myself happy, no matter where I live or what I am doing - I want to wake up every day with a purpose and not just for obligation.  This trip really opened my eyes to the world around me and how you are the only one who can determine your future and reach your goals.

So, with that said - big changes are coming and I am so pumped about it! Hopefully you will all be with me for the journey!

Has anyone had a vacay that totally changed their outlook on life? Comment with your response!

In the meantime - check out some of my pics from the trip below!
